Very Early Notice for Switzerland PhD, Post Doc, Research Exchange in any field/major, Medical Scholarships 2018-2019 by Swiss Government to Pakistan  Dear all, Every Year, we dun get our fair share of PhD and Post Doctorate, Research Exchange In any major/field, Medical field Scholarships at Switzerland Institutes offered by Swiss Government to Pakistan. Because all you need is the acceptance  letter from a Swiss professor in Designated Swiss Universities for PhD and Post Doc. or Research exchange (For people who have done 18 years of education) and for medical doctors at some medical Hospital at Switzerland along with a good profile. But from the experience of previous years, we have noticed that most of the times, professors have already accepted another student from another country, because you are late in emailing him and impressing them OR you do not spend time in understanding professor profile and relating his profile to your work etc. So that he does not get impressed and rej

PostDoc in Pecot Lab at Harvard Medical School, USA

The Pecot Lab in the Department of Neurobiology at Harvard Medical School is seeking postdoctoral researchers interested in studying the molecular basis of precise neural connectivity. The goal of our research is to identify general molecular and cellular principles that underlie how neural networks are assembled. We address this at the level of identified cell types and synapses in the fly visual system. We are interest ed in the molecules that underlie how neurons distinguish each other and form synapses with appropriate partners, and in determining the gene regulatory networks that give rise to the expression of these genes in specific cell types. We employ a diverse experimental approach, involving molecular genetics, transcriptome profiling, genomics, confocal and superresolution microscopy, calcium imaging, and electron microscopy. Training in neuroscience or fly genetics is welcome but not necessary. We offer a supportive, collaborative and creative environment. Please emai

PhD Scholarship - Immunology of kidney stone diseases at The University of Newcastle, Australia

The GrowUpWell Priority Research Centre is looking for assistance with understanding the Immunology of kidney stone diseases This project aims to improve our understanding of how our immune system protects against stone recurrence and its role in preventing long-term consequences such as impaired kidney function. Specifically, we aim to determine the role of group 2 innate lymphoid cells (ILC2s) in this process. To do this we will; Determine the relative proportion of ILC2s in the blood and urine of patients with cystinuria and other kidney stone diseases, Replicate genetic variants identified in patients with cystinuria using CRISPR-Cas9 technology to generate novel mice that spontaneously develop cystinuria. Determine the functional role of ILC2s in stone recurrence, restoration of normal urinary tract function and onset of chronic disease, Establish new clinical guidelines for kidney stone prevention and management. Collectively, this project will provide valuable new ins

Project Description An efficient and cost-effective conversion of solar energy into electricity always remains a daunting task in solar cell application. Conventional solar cell materials can only convert a small fraction of the solar photons with energy matching the characteristic bandgap leading to the Shockley-Queisser thermodynamic efficiency limit of ~32 %. There is one possible approach to break such efficiency limit: To utilize exces
