Research Fellow positions are available in the laboratory of malaria parasite biology at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

1. Erythrocyte signalling during Plasmodium falciparum merozoite invasion. The project will focus on establishing the erythrocyte signalling cascade activated during the ligand-receptor interaction and aims to identify critical erythrocyte proteins involved in signalling. The project aims to develop a more tractable system to directly investigate erythrocyte signalling molecules during merozoite invasion. Requirements: • PhD in Biosciences or related fields • Strong background in biochemistry and cell signalling transduction • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills • Strong interpersonal skills for collaborative working, to be self-motivated, well organised and focused The suitable candidate will be initially offered a one year contract.
