The National Chiao Tung University is currently accepting applications for National Chiao Tung University International Student Scholarship to study in Taiwan. Scholarships are available to pursue bachelor, master and doctoral programme.

Scholarship Provider: The National Chiao Tung University is one of Taiwan’s leading public research universities located in Hsinchu, Taiwan. NCTU is generally considered to be one of the best universities in Taiwan. As a leading technological university, NCTU has faculty with doctorates from the world’s top universities. They include but are not limited to Cambridge, Harvard, Stanford, Berkeley, MIT, Universities of London, Paris, and Tokyo.

A. International Freshman Scholarship Amount:

(1) Bachelor Class: Up to NT $ 12,000 (approximately US $ 400) a month and / or tuition and relief deductions (full or partial)

(2) Master's Program: up to NT $ 16,000 (about US $ 533) per month and / or tuition and fee relief (in full or in part)

(3) Doctoral Program: Up to NT $ 24,000 (approximately US $ 800) per month and / or tuition and fee relief (in full or in part)


B. Award deadline: the first semester for the principle of up to one year nuclear (second-semester students apply for scholarship from year to year)

C. Re-apply (at Student Scholarship): Before the end of the first year, students are required to apply for outstanding scholarship programs. The amount of the scholarship is divided according to academic level,

Bachelor up to NT $ 12,000 (about US $ 400) and / or tuition deductions (full or partial)

MSc up to NT $ 16,000 (approximately USD $ 533) and / or tuition deductions (in full or in part)

Ph.D. up to 24,000 (US $ 800) and / or tuition deductions (in full or in part)

Excellent student scholarship based on the applicant's academic and research performance, the award period of one year to apply for each year.

D. How to Apply: Select "National Chiao Tung University International Student Scholarship" in the Application for Admission Application Form. Your scholarship qualification will be reviewed together with the application materials.


E. Application Deadline: Same as application period

January 2 - March 15 (general application)

Research Fellow positions are available in the laboratory of malaria parasite biology at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

1. Erythrocyte signalling during Plasmodium falciparum merozoite invasion. The project will focus on establishing the erythrocyte signalling cascade activated during the ligand-receptor interaction and aims to identify critical erythrocyte proteins involved in signalling.
