HEC has announced highly paid and prestigious IDB ( Islamic Development Bank) PhD and Post Doctoral Scholarships, all permanent / regular employee of academic institutions (Public/ Private) (Universities, Colleges, Schools) and R&D bodies (NESCOM, PAEC, PCSIR etc) or working as researchers on
academic institutions of Pakistan, you can go to do PhD or Postdoc. at any of the top institutions mentioned in THES rankings list on Highly funded (Very handsome amount) Scholarship by Islamic Development Bank (IDB) 2018-2019
HEC has put up the application website with the last date to apply: 12th February 2018
** You must belong to these Fields Sustainable Agricultural, Education for Sustainable Development, Climate Change, Energy, Sustainable Cities, Responsible Growth, Waste Management, Population Growth, Green Chemistry, Biodiversity, Plastic Pollution and Micro Plastics, Water and Hygiene, Health, ICT for Development, Innovation & Infrastructure Development, Islamic Economics, Finance & Banking, and Development related Social Sciences.
People applying must have done Masters / M Phil (18 years) before applying
Nominated students by HEC must secure admissions in THES ranked universities in above-mentioned fields but priority will be given to the students who already have secured admissions in given above fields in such universities especially in these universities University of Cambridge, University of Birmingham, University College London and Imperial College London in the UK, Queen Merry University of London, Copenhagen University in Denmark, Princeton University in USA and KAUST in Saudi Arabia and McGill University in Canada.
